I'll do that when I'm in the area. I'll have to get a picture of my new bike on my site, my daugther is home from college, smarter than I am about such stuff!
Hi, guess POST 731 where I am a member is having some problems so I'm going to POST 232 in Polk City, Iowa. Small town closer to Ames for me and I think I'll like it better.
Got a new bike, 2009 Ultra, had it lowered and new pipes, air cleaner and power command plus a removable tour pack. Now it has 700 miles on it, wish the weather would get beeter on the weekends so I could ride!
I'll have to get to your neck of the woods maybe do a ride with you !

Double layers today. What about you? Thank you Lord it's Friday. One good thing....met with lots of co-workers after work. Thank you for friends...brothers & sisters.
Hey Karen...Sorry about your parents. You need to do what we do on holidays. A lot have no place to go & it's lonely & depressing by yourself. We have "Homeless Thanksgiving or Christmas" at our favorite bar. Everyone brings a dish & has a great time with friends they consider family. Plus...you get some great food. Nobody's going to bring a crappy dish & run the risk of being called a bad cook. LOL! No snow here yet...but 8 degrees in the morning. Wind chill below 0. Not a happy camper with the cold. Take care. Talk to you soon. Stay warm!
Hey, Karen~~Nice to know that you'll be at the Romp, too!! Will be nice to meet you in person! Since I'm drained so much from the meds, Jay & I will be hauling our bikes up. We've got a motel room reserved, so we'll park the truck & trailer there, then ride our bikes to the Romp. I've missed a few road trips because of this crap. When I start feeling bad, I need to be close to home or a motel bed. Can't wait to meet you!!!!
Thank you for your support. No, it's not cancer, it's Hepatitis C. Went for blood work this morning, and it showed that the treatments are working. I don't feel as sick as I did the first 3 weeks of treatment, but I feel drained & wore out all the time. I'm hoping I start feeling better in time for the Romp, so I can ride my bike instead of riding bitch behind my husband. Take care, ride safe, and thanks again!!!
Hope you are all moved in... I know how that is, I recently went through it too!! I am not sure where your post is, maybe we'll visit sometime. Come by 171 anytime! Ride safe and thanks for adding me!
